Consider the suffering of our low-income and disabled neighbors. Many live in homes that are in ill repair, not functional, or not equipped with the safety features they need. At Rebuilding Together – Anne Arundel County, Inc., we rely on donations, grants, individual contributions and local volunteers offering their time and talents to make a difference in these people’s lives. Since our founding in 1991, this Maryland charitable organization has repaired and revitalized 330 local homes – and given needy neighbors a chance to stay warm, safe, dry, and independent. For example, we installed hot - and cold - running water for an elderly man who had gone without for more than 20 years. We also built a first - floor bathroom for a 90-year-old woman who could no longer climb the stairs to the one on her second floor. Why not join our cause and help us improve someone else’s life? Although there are many qualified charitable institutions, Rebuilding Together is unique because we provide totally free home-repair services directly to Anne Arundel County homeowners. Helping Our Neediest Neighbors Through Charitable Giving
