Blitz Day — A Prominent Showcase Of Charitable Donation Making
There’s never been a better time for a charitable contribution to the needy residents of our community. At Rebuilding Together – Anne Arundel County, Inc.,we’re eagerly planning for another successful Blitz Day in April. This important one - day event helps rebuild and restore as many as 30 homes for our low – income, elderly, and disabled neighbors. Charitable donations from corporate sponsors like you — as well as an investment of time and talent from concerned individuals — provide the valuable support we so desperately need. Your generous contribution will be most welcome.
Becoming involved at one of these levels:
Community Builders – for a donation of $10,000 and above per year
- Premier Level of sponsorship.
- Community Builders will be acknowledged in individual press releases announcing the level of sponsorship.
- Community Builders will be acknowledged in RTAAC newsletters and brochures.
- Community Builder’s logo will appear on Rebuilding Day T-shirts worn by all RTAAC volunteers.
- RTAAC will provide a link to the website of the Community Builder on their website.
- The financial commitment of Community Builders will allow for year-round repairs and modifications. This level of sponsorship will also be vital in establishing an Emergency Repair Program.
- Community Builders will receive internal advertising and promotion at RT fundraising events.
- Community Builders will be presented with a plaque for their office, which can be presented by the Board President of RT AAC at an event of the sponsor’s choice.
- The Community Builder will receive their choice of a photo book or CD-Rom of project photos.
Neighborhood Builders – for a donation of $5,000 per year
- Second highest designated level of Sponsorship.
- Neighborhood Builders will be acknowledged in RTAAC Newsletters.
- Neighborhood Builders will be acknowledged in press releases about special projects.
- RTAAC will provide a link to the website of the Neighborhood Builder on their website.
- Neighborhood Builder’s logo will appear on the T-shirts worn by all RTAAC volunteers.
- The financial commitment of Neighborhood Builders will allow for year-round repairs and modifications.
House Sponsors – for a donation of $3,500 per year
- House Sponsor’s logo will appear on the T-shirt that is worn by all RTAAC volunteers.
- House Sponsors will be acknowledged in RTAAC newsletters.
- House Sponsors provide necessary home repairs for one homeowner in need. Repairs are typically completed on the last Saturday in April.
Project Sponsors – for a donation between $1,000 and $3,449 per year
- Project Sponsor will be acknowledged in RTAAC newsletter.
- Project Sponsors allow RTAAC to respond quickly to emergency needs of homeowners such as repairing heat, hot water heaters, leaking roofs or installing ramps, etc.
Gold Patrons – for a donation of up to $1,000 year
- Gold Patron will be acknowledged in RTAAC newsletter
- Donations will support the services offered by RTAAC

Role of Sponsor
In addition to providing the necessary funding, many sponsors choose to participate in Blitz Day and/or volunteer workdays.

Sponsors are strongly encouraged to provide home team leadership. Our evaluations report that sponsors providing home team leaders have the best experiences.

Sponsors are encouraged to provide volunteers as needed on the project site.
- Sponsors are asked to provide RTAAC with a jpeg logo.
- Sponsors are asked to issue funds to RTAAC by January 15, 2008.

Join your responsible neighbors who support Rebuilding Together.Your charitable gift donations will help us make a difference — one home at atime! Help purchase items such as ramps for disabled homeowners and new furnaces or roofs for senior citizens.
