Improving Lives Through Our Volunteer Work In Maryland
Do you know someone living in substandard housing? Have you noticed safety hazards around an elderly neighbor’s home? Perhaps you’ve seen broken windows, missing gutters, or other indications that such low-income residents are not warm, safe and dry. Rebuilding Together – Anne Arundel County, Inc. performs volunteer work in Maryland focusing on low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners, as well as low income families with children. Our services are totally free to those who qualify. Through generous financial donations and valuable volunteer work, we can bring about great change in these people’s lives. However, in order to receive our services, residents must meet these qualifications:
- Be a homeowner in Anne Arundel County, Maryland
- Reside in the home needing repair
- Have a combined household income of no more than $30,000 per year from all sources
- Demonstrate a legitimate need
- Be unable to perform the work themselves
- Plan to reside in the repaired home for a couple of more years

If you or someone you know would like to receive help from Rebuilding Together, apply now. The process is simple. Complete the application for assistance. Someone from our organization's House Selection Committee will contact you for a personal interview. A member of the Technical Review Committee may also meet with you for more details before the board determines if you qualify for our volunteer work. This volunteer program in Maryland utilizes donations from local corporations, civic groups, and church organizations — as well as the time and talent of Anne Arundel County’s most caring individuals.
